Life in Louisville

Frank Anderton is the manager of a medical supply warehouse located in Louisville, Kentucky known as Uneeda Medical Supply, "You Need It, We Got It. None Larger."
Frank is mild mannered, reliable and trustworthy. Frank knows the warehouse business inside and out. He's been in the business for, "as long as I can remember," he'll reply when asked for how long. He started out at Purnell Sausage in Simpsonville, KY, after his 8 years of service in the Army. Frank was hired on by Allen Purnell in 1951 as warehouse custodian. Shortly thereafter he was made lead warehouse order selector. It wasn't long before he was promoted to warehouse supervisor. He was also put in charge of the shipping and receiving department and frozen product. Over the years at Purnell Sausage Frank had built himself quite a reputation as an honest and reliable, hard working warehouse man. His good reputation grew far and wide it seemed as he was receiving offers for other positions with various warehouse businesses in and around Simpsonville, including Louisville businesses too. Frank had been dating Gloria Donaby for more than a year when he decided to take up an old Army pals offer to become warehouse supervisor for his medical supply company. The offer came from Burt Wilson. It was Burt's generous offer coupled with Frank's desire to ask Gloria to marry him that led to franks decision to quit Purnell Sausage and go to work for Burt at Uneeda in Louisville. He's worked at Uneeda for more than 14 years now. Burt originally established the company in 1969 in Danville, Kentucky. Uneeda thrived in the small town; so much so that Burt had to relocate the business to Louisville and a much larger warehouse building. Louiville was good to Frank and Gloria over the next several years...
